Our Spontaneous FHE

My husband and I are a little more on the dorky side than your average couple... and we know it. However, we embrace it and have had some really fun times together. I've been sick with a cold/flu this past week and haven't had a whole lot of energy to do much. So, we didn't plan anything real big for FHE last night. We were laying on the couch watching tv when I looked up at him and said, "hey, we should go look at Christmas lights." I think he was a little reluctant at first, but we decided we would. We even made up some hot cocoa and took it with us.

We hit the streets with Christmas music playing in the background. I love Christmas lights, they are one of my favorite things about this time of year. I had a fabulous time last night and hope that AJ did too. I sure love that silly husband of mine.

We think those lights on the ground are milk jugs, but they were covered in snow and we couldn't really tell for sure. They looked neat tho.


It snowed yesterday morning and it really felt like Christmas, looking at the lights with all the new snow. It was beautiful.


This house was pretty intense. There were more lights than is pictured but i couldn't get them all in the frame of the car window I was shooting out of.
